What should I wear?
For the pole class we suggest shorts and a tank top. For aerial silks, acro yoga, and jiu jitsu classes we suggest athletic pants and t shirts. All classes are taken bare foot. Please, no jewelry. Jewelry can potentially rip the silks. Rings can scratch the poles and dangly earring and necklaces can get in your way.
Do I need to register before class?
Yes, we have limited space and our classes are back to back. Once you are a member, you can register through our member's page. If you are not a member, please contact us to schedule your first intro class or click the " click here to sign up for classes now" button located at the top of this page.
Where is the studio located?
You can find directions via the Contact tab, there is no signage outside so please follow the simple instructions and allow some extra time for your first visit. We are located upstairs from Mamma Mia's Pizzeria and next to Scranton Preparatory School.
How long does it take to pass the beginner level?
Our studio offers a four week program that covers the fundamentals of pole . For pole you will be spinning, climbing, doing floor work and basic holds. Aerial silks and acro yoga have a 12 week program. For silks you will be climbing, spinning, learning fun combos and learning basic holds and knots. There is a lot more for a beginner to do with the help of the knot. You can stand, sit, and invert from the knot, all in the beginner classes! Jiu jitsu is a 4 month program. Judo, Jiu jitsu and acro yoga are all currently one level. Each week you will learn a new combination, and when the program is done, we will cycle back to reinforce what you've learned and add any details you missed the 1st time around! This will improve your strength, flexibility, and your technique. You can always continue beginner or move to the next level when you are promoted.
Who can attend?
Our studio is open to anyone who wishes to attend. We do not discriminate by age or gender. We do ask everyone to be respectful of their fellow students and instructors. We are here to foster a positive environment for all! For students under the age of 18, we do require a Parent or Guardians signature before attending.
They will need to come in with you on your first day and fill out one of our waivers. Ages 13 and up may take adult classes. Ages 6 to 12 may take our children's classes which are Aerial Silks and Self Defense.
How early should I get to the studio before my 1st class?
We suggest arriving at least 15 minutes prior to your first class. You will extra need time to find our studio, take a tour, sign our waiver, and get ready for class on time.
How much will it cost?
Your first class will be $20.00. After your first class we would love to talk to you about our different memberships and specials!
Finally, don’t worry! This is a fun way to work out!
